position would report to our Global QHSE advisor who is based in Scotland,
though the position's working hours would be adaptable. Below is the job

The Sustainability Advisor will be responsible for implementing our
Sustainability strategies in the business and planning and assisting with
implementation of environmental, health, safety, and quality processes to
ensure all objectives are met in company’s uncompromising efforts for an
incident-free workplace.

*Responsibilities:*

- Take the lead on Sulmara's transition to net zero, including wider
environmental and social strategies that support a fair and just transition
in alignment to the UN SDGs.
- Implement Environmental performance monitoring in-line with the Green
House Gas (GHG) Protocol and ISO 14046
- Identify opportunities and lead improvements in Environmental
performance through changes to practices, training, innovations or other
solutions and mitigations
- Work with industry bodies, academia or other interested parties to
develop Sulmara’s understanding to where we can contribute and improve the
environment from a collaborative approach
- Support the QHSE Manager with the development and maintenance of
Company QHSE documentation and the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Conduct company audits and inspections as required by the Sulmara's
audit schedule / business need
- Participate / lead during ISO and client audits of regional Sulmara's
offices
- Assist with the preparation of project environmental plans and related
project procedures and participation in project risk assessments
- Assisting with the preparation of environmental pre-qualifications,
bid information and reports
- Maintaining client pre-qualification databases (Achilles FPAL, etc)
- Ensure regional compliance with local Environmental regulations.

*Skills:*

- Passion for Sustainability, the Environment and Quality or Health &
Safety
- Ability to effectively communicate the importance of sustainability
and ESG to the business and other parties in a diverse multicultural
environment
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities and problem solve.



*Experience and Qualifications:*

- Environmental related Degree (relevant experience would be accepted in
lieu of a formal qualification)
- Experience in a non-for-profit environmental agency or group
- Membership of a professional institute advantageous.
