[WYC Announce] Reminder: Upcoming Elections

Hello all!

A reminder that WYC's fall elections are coming up next week! They are
scheduled for Wednesday, October 29th at 5:30pm in SMI 115.

Up for election are one Co-Commodore, one Vice Commodore, and Two Rear
Commodores, as well as our Treasurer positions.

Nominations are super easy and informal, you can nominate yourself ahead of
time using the form below, or you can just as easily run off the floor on
Wednesday. We encourage all of the General Membership to attend!

Candidates will give a short statement and can send us one or two slides
detailing their interest and experience. All regular members (UW undergrad
+ grad students) can run and vote.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or want to chat
about these positions.

Furthermore, the meeting agenda includes the topic of our quartermaster,
boat donations and removals, and two new committees.
