[WYC Announce] 10/16/25 General Meeting

Hello everyone!

We hope that everyone is getting settled into their classes as you return
from summer.  Temperatures are dropping, the leaves are turning brown, the
winds are picking up again, and the magic of fall sailing is upon us!

That being said, we will be having a general meeting on *October 16, 5:30 -
6:30 pm in SMI 115*.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

*Fall Elections*
It's election season! Three Officer positions are open: one Co-Commodore,
one Vice Commodore, and one Rear Commodore. Other positions will also be
open. The positions and their responsibilities will be gone over to prepare
for elections, which will take place at the ad hoc meeting following this
one.

*Blue Whaler Engine*
The outboard engine on the blue whaler is unfortunately seized. We are
currently down to one operating whaler (white). To this end, submitted for
consideration to the General Membership is a proposal to approve up to
$5,000 to procure a replacement outboard.

*Engine Donation*
There is currently a generous donor who is letting go of a diesel inboard
engine that may breathe new life into Talaria.

We look forward to seeing you all at the meeting. As always, let us know if

discuss during the meeting.
