Wellness Dental laboratory technicians work with the clinical team to fill prescriptions from those dentists. They use advanced technical skills to design and assist with troubleshooting implant-based dental prosthetics to precise standards for fit and esthetics. Deep domain expertise and critical thinking skills are necessary in order to develop and share complex solutions with the dentist and clinical team. Lab technicians work under the supervision of the Office Manager and may be called to be chairside to assist in conversions. While work methods follow established procedures and practices, candidates are expected to consult with their doctors and team using a high degree of judgment on a patient-by-patient basis.
