Hi Program on Climate Change Grads and Postdocs!

Happy February and T-2 weeks till Valentine’s Day! Have you been looking for a new connection at the University of Washington to chat about research with over coffee? Fallen in love with a new sub-discipline outside of your wheelhouse and desperately need someone to chat about it with? Do you trust the PCC Graduate Steering Committee to be your matchmakers?

You’re in luck! We’re launching a new program to set you up on a blind date (a.k.a. collegial coffee and chat) with an early-career researcher outside of your department in the Program on Climate Change. You tell us what research you do and what you’re looking for, and we’ll find you a match and give you money to grab a coffee, tea, or pastry with your new colleague. We’ll do our best to match you with someone that you don’t know, so we can spend our energy building up new interdisciplinary and interdepartmental community :)
