[pccgrads] PCC Climate Research Accelerator Call for Proposals-June 1, 2025 deadline

[PROGRAM ON CLIMATE CHANGE via Pcc_all via pccgrads]

The Program on Climate Change maintains a unique framework of intense cross-disciplinary collaboration
that advances research and education in climate science, building knowledge, actions and solutions to
address the climate crisis. New gift funds established by generous donors are providing new professors,
postdoctoral scholars, and students the opportunity to leverage the PCC framework to pursue their ideas,
making new connections among the UW climate community.

The funding for these Research Accelerator projects is provided by these donors. The PCC extends its deep gratitude.

The Program on Climate Change (PCC) is requesting proposal submissions for climate science related research projects that accelerate or build capacity for climate research at the UW that is grounded in climate science. Funding requests up to 30K will be considered.

UW faculty, UW research scientists and UW Postdoctoral Researchers from any program are invited to apply. Priority will be given to those in departments active in the PCC who have not received funding in the past. Postdocs may apply but funds must be used prior to leaving UW.

Applicants must clearly describe how their proposal will advance fundamental and/or applied climate science at the UW. The proposal must also include the goals or anticipated outcomes of the project or activity.

Proposals must be submitted by June 1, 2025, to be considered.
