Good Afternoon,



The South Carolina State Climatology Office is seeking a qualified
applicant to work as a Climatologist with experience in hydroclimatology
and stakeholder engagement.



The role involves close collaboration with sectors impacted by drought
(such as agriculture, forestry, and natural resources) to contribute weekly
to the U.S. Drought Monitor. This individual will also work closely with
the SC State Climatologist to coordinate state-level drought management and
administer the Drought Response Committee.  This individual will conduct
drought and water resource-related research and product development with
potential applications to agricultural and natural resource management,
climate forecasting, and hydrological modeling.



We are eager to welcome a new team member to Columbia, SC, so please
