Hello PCC community! I’m a CEE PhD student seeking housing in the U district or nearby neighborhood for 9-12 months. 

About me: I'm the former R&D Director of a fungal biotech company. I'm 39 and am clean, quiet, studious, and don't party. I'm in Seattle during the work week, but return south to Olympia over the weekend to be with my fiancee (an Executive Director of an international wolf sanctuary). Stable income, great credit score, all that good stuff. I'll bring kindness, respect, a community mindset, and lots of fungal lore & know-how. 

What I'm looking for: a studio, apartment, sublet, or shared room where I could have a quiet place to work and cook while I'm here in Seattle. Also, I have an older husky/chocolate lab mix who I'd like to have with me sometimes, so pet friendly housing is important. Furnished would be ideal but can be flexible. I'd like to be within biking distance of UW, and have somewhere to park a car.
