[pccgrads] Help Plan the 2024 Graduate Climate Conference at UW!

Hi PCC Grads,

On behalf of the 2024 Graduate Climate Conference (GCC) Co-Chairs, I am
excited to announce that this year's conference is returning to *Pack
Forest, Washington*! GCC is a unique, interdisciplinary climate conference
run entirely by graduate students, for graduate students. The first
Graduate Climate Conference was organized by graduate students from the
Program on Climate Change (!) in 2006. Since then, the conference has
alternated between UW and MIT and the organizing committee has expanded to
include students from many different institutions inside and outside of the
US.

*We are looking for UW graduate students who are interested in joining the
2024 GCC Organizing Committee.* This is a great opportunity to get a
behind-the-scenes look at how a conference comes together as well as to
connect and collaborate with graduate students from other institutions.
Since GCC is returning to UW's Pack Forest this year, having UW graduate
students involved in the planning process will be essential to its success.
We are especially hoping to have UW students involved in the conference
logistics, transportation, social events, and audio/visual committees (see
attachment for a brief description of each committee).
