[pccgrads] Outreach Opportunity - This Wednesday (June 28th)!

Hi all,

We have an exciting (and last-minute!) community outreach opportunity. We
have received a request from a junior at Lincoln High School in Seattle for
a volunteer to manage a table and provide perspectives on their field of
study and its connection to work in climate. The student is organizing the
high school's first annual environmental symposium, which aims to bring
together ambivalent, climate-anxious, or interested students with sources
of knowledge or jumping-off points in environmentally connected fields of
study. The volunteer(s) will manage a table that students can sit down at
for one of two sessions, fielding questions about their field, how they got
into their field, and potential ways for students to get involved.


The symposium is *THIS WEDNESDAY, **June 28th,* from *11:05 AM to 12:10 PM*
at Lincoln High School in Seattle. The volunteer could come into the school
or call in remotely, although coming in person would be preferred.
