WSU is developing a climate change app. They are looking for testers that
will be given a $50 gift card. More information is below. In particular,
they are looking for men, those not sure about climate change, and people
that represent diversity. Please share this with anyone you think might be
interested in participating!

ClimTo (Climate Together) is a smartphone app that promotes innovation in
climate adaptation solutions. It is being developed by Washington State
University, non-profit company Urbanova, and for-profit company Sonoma
Technology – a team led by Dr. Anne Pisor of WSU. The team is creating
prototypes (early versions) of the app and want to understand how users
might use the app.

We invite you to participate in a Zoom interview that will last 30-60
minutes and for which you will receive a $50 gift card. In your interview,
you will open the ClimTo prototype in your web browser and share your
screen on Zoom. A small team of researchers will ask you to do things in
the app, or ask you what you think about certain features of the app. They
will watch what you click on and where your eyes look on the screen, and
they will take notes on what you say and do. The Zoom meeting will be
recorded in case researchers need to go back later to revisit your
responses and clicks as they work on the prototype.

Your responses and Zoom recording will be kept confidential by the research
team. You must live in the United States and be 18+ years old to
participate.

For more information, to ask questions, or to sign up for an interview,
please write Anne Pisor at anne.pisor at wsu.edu.
