Health Literacy & Clinical Research training
Institutional Review Board (IRB) members, research teams, and anyone with an interest in research on human subjects should use health literacy best practices when reviewing any public-facing materials or materials that study participants will use. This will enhance recruitment of eligible and diverse participants and improve participants' adherence to instructions. That, in turn, will improve the quality of the data collected and the results.
