Hello ACMS Majors,

Below you will find important information about graduating applications, graduating senior priority (GSP), winter quarter course offerings, and registration tips.

Are you planning to graduate this coming spring, summer or autumn quarter?  If yes and you haven't applied for graduation, visit https://acms.washington.edu/graduation.  To have GSP registration for spring quarter 2026<https://registrar.washington.edu/register/date/#gsp>, ACMS majors must request their graduation application no later than Tuesday, JAN 27, 2026.


ACMS MAJOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

ACMS Data Science Majors: STAT 435 B – Intro. Statistics for Data Science; section B is open to ACMS majors only during period I.

ACMS MEQF Majors: Register for CFRM 415 B; Intro to Fin. Markets; section B is open to ACMS majors only - 10 seats available.

MATH 381 - Discrete Mathematical Modeling; Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores

Period I         MATH & ACMS majors only
Period II / III  Open to all majors


MATH 407 / 408 -  Linear / Nonlinear Optimization

Period I    MATH, ACMS majors only; Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores only
Period II & III    Open to all majors; all undergrad class standings

MATH 408 Planning Tip for 2027:  If you plan to take MATH 408 during the 2026-2027 academic year, students must earn a minimum grade of 2.0 in either MATH 327 or MATH 334; and a minimum grade of 2.0 in either MATH 407 or MATH 464.
