[Acmsmajors] Summer 25 Math research projects - MATH 398 5 credits CR/NC

Dear ACMS majors,

This summer we are offering an opportunity to join a research project.  There is no application process; it will be first-come, first-served up to 10 students per project.

Students filling out the registration request form will be registered for summer MATH 398 (5 credits; Credit/No Credit - doesn't apply to the acms major requirements).  You must be available to meet at the days/times (and in-person or online as indicated by project) and meet any prerequisites.  Students graduating this spring are ineligible.

Project A: The Teaching of Mathematics
CLOSED - Project B: Calculus Based Projects
Project C: Approximating Algebraic Structures
CLOSED - Project D: A Markov Chain Model of Social Media Polarization
NEAR CAPACITY - Project E: Exploring Super Vector Spaces
Project F: Beyond the fourth dimension
