Hello ACMS Majors,
Below you will find important information about graduating senior priority (GSP) and winter quarter course offerings and registration tips.
Are you planning to graduate summer quarter 2023 or sooner? If you are and have not yet applied for graduation, visit https://acms.washington.edu/graduation. To register on Friday, NOV 4 with GSP, eligible students must email their graduation application request to our office no later than 4pm, Monday, October 31, 2022.

WINTER 2023 REGISTRATION PERIODS
Period I: NOV 4 - NOV 20
Period II: NOV 21 - JAN 2
Period III: begins JAN 3
ACMS MAJOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
CFRM 410 B - Prob. and Statistics for Computational Finance: Section B is only for students in ACMS - MEQF option
CFRM 425 B - R Programming for Quantitative Finance: Section B is only for students in ACMS - MEQF option
MATH 282 - Exploring Opportunities in Mathematical Sciences: 1-cr CR/NC seminar courses. We'll meet a few times in the quarter to hear faculty speak about research, grad school, courses and more! Cannot be applied towards ACMS major requirements.
MATH 381 - Discrete Mathematical Modeling
Period I ACMS majors only; Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores only
Period II & III MATH & ACMS majors only; Seniors, Juniors only
MATH 407*/408** - Optimization: Enrollment will be split between Math and ACMS majors, and will likely fill with graduating seniors. All sections will be open to both MATH and ACMS majors on WED, NOV 16 at ~9am.
Math 407 A - ACMS majors only period 1
Math 407 B - MATH majors only period 1
*MATH 407 will only be open to seniors during registration period II & III.
Math 408 A - ACMS priority period 1
Math 408 B - MATH priority period 1
**Prerequisite: minimum grade of 2.0 in MATH 407 or MATH 464, and MATH 327 or MATH 334.
MATH 461 Combinatorial Theory 1: Enrollment will be split between Math and ACMS majors. All sections will be open to both MATH and ACMS majors on WED, NOV 16 at ~9am.
MATH 461 A - ACMS priority period 1
MATH 461 B - MATH priority period 1
MATH/STAT 492 Stochastic Calculus Options is taught this year.
Lastly, please check to make sure you do not have any holds on your registration!
