[WYC Announce] 2/26 General Meeting

Dear WYC members,


Hope everyone had a restful long weekend!

We will hold a *General Meeting next Wednesday at 6:00pm in Sieg 420*. In
this meeting we will catch members up on recent ongoings in the club and
get organized for the rest of Winter and Spring.

Additionally, here is a new policy proposed by Vice Commodore Yoochan An to
be voted on during the upcoming meeting. The idea that DH-rated sailors
should be able to sail Bravos came up in Fall of 2024 during the Dinghy
Instructor Meeting, and the corresponding policy needs approval of the
general membership. The proposed policy is as follows:

ii. Double-Handed Novice

The test may be performed in an FJ, Laser II, or Vision, and qualifies the
holder to sail the FJ, Laser II, Vision, and Flying Scot

Changes made: deletion of Laser II (as we no longer have this boat),
insertion of Bravo to DH-sailable boats.

Any WYC member may propose changes to our legislative documents during a
General Meeting.
