[WYC Announce] Fall lessons and Dawg Daze sign-up

Happy Friday WYC,


Fall quarter is coming up quickly and there are many upcoming opportunities
to get involved at the club!


First: We are in need of volunteers for the *Dawg Daze event* on *Sunday
September 24th. *This is our largest outreach event of the year where
skippers will be taking hundreds of incoming freshmen on short outings on
Union Bay or just beyond. In addition we will need volunteers for* tabling,
chatting to people in line (or teaching knot-tying), setup and tear down.*
It is always a lot of fun!

Second: We are in need of another round of instructing and assisting for
lessons in the upcoming quarter. Some perks include free membership for the
quarter (can be applied to later quarters) and lots of appreciation! You
need a skipper + whaler rating to instruct. Alternatively, if you have an
intermediate rating, grab another intermediate-rated friend to
co-instruct (one whaler rating needed). Finally, an intermediate rating is
all you need to be an assistant instructor.
