[WYC Announce] Boat move help needed tonight and Sunday / A few hours remaining to sign up for Keelboat Clinic on Sunday /

Hey everyone,

We'll again have to move all of our boats starting at 6 pm tonight, and
starting at 8 am on Sunday. Please come down this week or in future weeks
to lend a hand for this important process. No advance notice is needed.

We'll be doing some maintenance and repair work on the boats following the
completion of the boat return process Sunday morning, which is a great
opportunity to learn some new skills. Afterwards, we will hold a Keelboat
Clinic, and there is still time to sign up to participate before tonight's
6 pm sign-up deadline. We will also hold another Keelboat Clinic from noon
to 5 pm this coming Tuesday. http://events.washingtonyachtclub.org/

The registration page for our Dawg Daze / Student Sailing Open House on
Sunday, September 25th from 3 pm to 7 pm is now up and running. Please
share this link with any full-time UW students you know who might be
interested in coming out sailing and joining the club:

We still need more club members to volunteer to help us make this event a
success. No experience is necessary. We have skippers now for most of our
boats, but still need crew for most of them to assist with the sailing and

The Fall membership sign-up form is available for student members and
recent/returning non-student members. Starting September 28th, individuals
need to hold Fall membership to participate in club activities.
