[WYC Announce] First meeting of the year tonight!

Hi everyone,

A reminder that we'll be having our first meeting of the school year at 7

We'll be discussing some of the ways that members can get involved with the
club this year such as:

   - Running for one of the officer positions (Co-Commodore, Vice
   Commodore, and/or Rear Commodore) later this quarter
   - Filling a vacant dues-exempt position (Webmaster, Snooze n Cruise
   Chair, and Fleet Captains for Bravo, Performance, Daysailer, and Sail)
   - Working your way up to becoming a paid Ratings Examiner for the club
   - Helping to plan our 75th Anniversary Celebration that we'll hold in
   Winter or Spring Quarter

Tonight we'll be voting on allowing the Commodores to sign an updated Terms
of Use Agreement with UW Recreation (see attached), which would make it so
that we won't have to sign up two days in advance to go down to the
waterfront anymore. We'll also discuss proposed changes to our By-Laws and
Policies documents to address some current challenges and limitations with
our Chiefs and Instructors policies and otherwise update content that no
longer applies to the club.

*Position Holders and Fleet Captains: *Please try to send any updates you
have relevant to your position. We'll try not to spend too much time on
updates during the meeting itself, but anybody who is looking to get input
or help from other club members is welcome to speak when we go through our
Reports.

Lastly, please find attached minutes from our last three General Meetings.
They were all already distributed previously, but we'll be approving them
tonight.
