[WYC Announce] Upcoming Lessons/Updates

Greetings Sailors,
We currently have 130 people who have signed up for fall quarter
memberships! I had the pleasure of meeting a few of you during Snooze and
Cruise this weekend. If you have photos you would like to share with the
club, please add them to the SnC folder at

*Upcoming Volunteer Events:*
Friday, Oct. 14, 6:00 - 8:00 PM: Boat Move
Sunday, Oct 18th, 8:00-10:00 AM : Boat Move
Make sure to check the Maintenance channel on our Discord, if you would
like to help out with boat work/repair.

*Open Sailing Classes:*
Friday, Monday, Oct. 14, 16: Windsurfing Level 2 Novice
Friday-Sunday, Oct. 14-16: Final Ithaka Novice Class
Saturday, Oct. 15: Sailing Basics Class
Sunday, Oct. 16: Novice Dinghy Class
Sunday, Oct. 16: First Novice Keelboat Class
Many more Windsurfing classes are posted and more dinghy lessons should be
up later this week.
If you are interested in taking our keelboat novice class, sign up at
https://forms.gle/WsZmLXTNuThhSDSG9 by Wednesday evening. Priority will be
given to those with experience and volunteer time with the club, but all
are encouraged to fill out the form.
*For Instructors:*
We are looking for more instructors and REs to help us teach our large
influx of new members, if you are at all interested/available please fill
out: https://forms.gle/zr8dKdancqGwa5H76. We are especially in need of
rated whaler drivers, including for this weekend, so please sign up if you
can.
