Greetings Sailors,
We are now able to take keelboats out sailing every weekend Saturday,
Sunday 12-7pm, and Fridays people request me to sign up for. However, all
members must remember to sign up at
http://www.washingtonyachtclub.org/lessons (under Specialty) by the
Wednesday before. We have four keelboats that are capable of going out,
though the actual number will depend on the number of members with ratings
who attend. Dinghy sailing for the rest of the quarter will be restricted
mostly to sailors with previous experience as I am hoping to use these days
to train some more whaler drivers (which we definitely need more of).
I am also starting to collect instructor information for the coming
quarter, so please fill this out:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSefoG7mtkFYCXRlYhXAvUeGwfilhMYcIBqvC2Q2OHWArGHjWA/viewform?usp=sf_link
as
soon as is convenient.
Some other possible events to tentatively mark on your calendar (not yet
approved):
Sail Repair and Social (Saturday March 12th)
Seattle Boating Opening Day (May 7th)
Happy sailing,
William Rae
