[WYC Announce] Looking for updates about the status of committees and looking for interest in joining active committees

[WYC Commodore]

Hi everyone,

The current officers have been trying to figure out what committees that
were formed during meetings in prior years are still active and relevant to
current club operations. We are doing so in order to try to maximize
progress in areas that benefit the club.

Could everyone who is or was part of a committee listed below (or a
committee that we might have missed) provide me with an update about
whether the committee is still active and whether you are still part of it?

We would also like to form or revive standing committees to cover areas
that will remain important to the club such as Diversity, Equity, and
Inclusion (DEI), Recruitment, and Fleet Planning. Joining a committee would
be a great way to begin to get involved with the operation of the club.
Please reach out if you are interested in joining any of these three
committees or have ideas on other committees that we should start or retain.
