Many many congratulations Ben - this is so exciting. I shared it with my colleagues in CINE at the University of Oregon and I am absolutely interested in participating - presenting a paper or whatever works:))

Take care

Sangita

Subject: [PNWMC] Update and Upcoming Symposium (In-Person!)

Dear members of the PNWMC,

We are writing with an exciting update about the Pacific Northwest Media Commons. We have received funding from The Simpson Center for the Humanities at University of Washington to hold an in-person symposium in the Fall! This will replace our online work-in-progress events for the year. More details will follow, but please begin considering how and if you would like to participate. The symposium will be held at the UW Seattle campus. We will send out a call for workshops and events soon. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide travel stipends, but we can offer discounts at local hotels. We are so excited to have this opportunity to get to know each other in person and to continue to strengthen our PNW media studies community!! Watch this space for further updates.

Sincerely,

-Ben & Lauren
