Sorry for the list mail, but there is urgency in this. I got a call for help from a past expert in Vertov Richard Bossons of UK, see blow. A worthy cause, and a great initiative, especially since tomorrow is a 100th anniversary of the Dovzhenko (WUFKU) studio in Kiev. Daria Khitrova and I will donate from our budget. I hope you will be able to contribute and/or spread the word. Slava Ukraine!

Dear Yuri

I am trying to raise funds for the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Centre in Kyiv. Its precious archive of over 7000 Ukrainian and foreign films is under threat from Russian explosives and Putin's desire to destroy Ukrainian culture. Many of its staff have evacuated or joined up and it is very short of funds. I would appreciate it if you could spread the word to colleagues and friends, and in social media. In two days we have reached nearly half of our target! International donations can be made through Paypal.
