<div dir="ltr">Many thanks to the Tweets who sent birding suggestions.  Unfortunately my appointment ran quite long so it was a mad dash to catch the ferry for me.  However, I was quite intrigued by your suggestions, and I will take a day to explore come spring.  The ferry trips provided looks at all three cormorants, Surf Scoters, distant grebe sp., f. Red-breasted Merganser, Pigeon Guillemots, and a surprising Black Turnstone wandering about one of the "bumpers" near the Vashon Dock.<div>Carol Stoner</div><div>West Seattle</div></div>
