<html><body><div dir="ltr">I haven’t seen this mentioned here so I thought I’d pass it along. There’s a continuing Harris’ Sparrow being seen in Port Gamble. The eBird hotspot is here: <a href="https://ebird.org/hotspot/L296606">https://ebird.org/hotspot/L296606</a><div><br></div><div dir="ltr">The bird seems to be sticking to a fairly small area; if you drive through town and down towards the kayak place on the water, when you hit the flat to the right is a jumble of boulders. Beyond that is the hill area back up towards the town, and the bird is hanging out in that area with White- and Golden-crowned sparrows.</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">It’s fairly reliable, when I went down there it came out after about ten minutes, but also rather furtive. You’ll see an orange traffic cone in the scrub, it seems to be in and around that area most of the time. It’s an easy ID once you see it among the sparrows as well (even for me). It looks like it’ll be sticking for a bit, since I think it’s been seen for almost a week. </div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">(And if you’re looking for refreshment, strongly recommend Butcher and Baker, back on the main road across from the main town area, for coffee/pastry and interesting foods while you’re there)</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Also take some time looking around the water near the Kayak place and along the shore, there have been Black Scoters there along with the more common and fun birds you might expect.
