We had a great time birding this summer but she is suffering from a lack of decent optics. She is a person of color and doesn't come from generational wealth. I gave her my Nikon monarch 7's and <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Im trying to help her mom out with getting her a half decent scope. At the moment we are looking at about $500 plus or minus for a scope. That's not a lot so I'm hoping to find a half decent used scope. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Ideally a small scope in the 50-60mm range (Nikon ed50 or similar) as she is a tiny person and lugging an 80mm around isn't ideal.
