For the most part, we did not succeed </div><div><br></div><div>Highlights:</div><div><br></div><div><ul class="MailOutline"><li>Cinnamon Teal - 2 at the lake platform, hanging out with a Wood Duck - these two kept us wondering for a while, thinking we might also have Blue-winged - but after looking over the photos, I think Cinnamon for both is the correct id.</li><li>Osprey - the young at the nest are remaining vocal - gotta be leaving soon</li><li>Pileated Woodpecker - heard several times throughout the day, never spotted</li><li>Swainson’s Thrush - still several around, heard only giving their whit-calls</li><li>Purple Finch & Brown Creepers seemed particularly vocal today</li></ul><div><br></div></div><div>Misses included many species - we missed Bald Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, Hooded Merganser, any flycatchers, any warblers other than Common Yellowthroat, swifts and swallows…</div><div><br></div><div>For the day, we eeked out 41 species</div><div><br></div><div>Matt Bartels</div><div>Seattle, WA</div></body></html>
