<html><head></head><body><div class="ydp6891453yahoo-style-wrap" style="font-family:bookman old style, new york, times, serif;font-size:16px;"><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"> Dear Tweeters,</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">A trip to the former Yugoslavia may soon be on my horizon. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">It came as a surprise to me, when I dusted off my old copy of John Gooders' <i>Where to Watch Birds in Eastern Europe</i>, that the book did not cover Yugoslavia. Neither did his book on Europe in general.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">So, I have a small list of possible lifers to seek, including the Rock Partridge, Sombre Tit, Melodious Warbler, Eastern Bonelli's Warbler, and Eastern Subalpine Warbler. Oh, and Baillon's Crake and Little Crake (if Lady Luck decides to perch on my shoulder).</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">The itinerary will presumably stick to Slovenia and Croatia.
