All 39 counties sent in updates of the year list as of the end of April. Thanks compilers for all your work, and thanks everyone who has contributed.</div><div><br></div><div>This check-in point is a bit arbitrary - the ‘end of April’ falls right in the midst of spring migration -the totals for any given county might vary quite a bit with just a few days shift in weather/migration/coverage. Nevertheless, given all the reports of a later/slower migration season this year,I thought it might be interesting to see how we are looking at this point in the year compared to recent years.</div><div><br></div><div>Here’s how things look compared with recent years:</div><div><br></div><div>We’ve tallied <b>329 species</b> statewide as of the end of April 2025.
