That’s exactly the same total as we had at this point last year, two higher than in 2022, and 12 lower than our 2021 total [401] at this point.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><b>For Western WA, our 362 total </b>is 3 lower than last year, and 3 higher than 2022.</div><div><br></div><div><b>For Eastern WA, our 323 total</b> is 1 lower than last year, and 2 lower than 2022.</div><div><br></div><div>Overall, we’re looking pretty similar to last year.</div></div><div><br></div><div>Looking at the percentage of each county’s total list seen, 30 counties have seen between 66% and 75% of their county’s total list - a pretty consistent result saying about 2/3 of the birds on any county’s have been found One outlier: Whitman County, which has seen 80% of its list total already this year.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><b>29 counties </b>have totals within 10 of their 2023 totals.</div><div><b>20 counties</b> have higher totals than this time last year, while 18 have lower totals than at this point last year. </div><div>One county has exactly the same total as at this point last year [Yay, Stevens!].</div><div><br></div><div><b>89 species have been seen in all 39 counties</b>, and 175 species have been found in 30 or more counties.</div><div><br></div><div><b><div style="font-weight: normal;">A handful of species new to the year might yet show up - most likely before thew new year might be: Emperor Goose, King Eider, Snowy Egret, W.
