<div>Sorry, later than usual, but at least turkey vultures are back in our vicinity all over. Thank you for the great sightings. I have only added a couple from e-bird to fill out the dates, sort of. There are lots and lots of sightings, but usually only one bird and they still aren't too far north (for March). Lots for April when we get there.</div>

<div>02 -- One turkey vulture at Sunset Beach, Washington Park, Anacortes, 0835; three individuals ca.10 miles apart on Hwy 20 between Penn Cove and Deception Pass, 2:30-3:00.</div>
<div>03 -- One at Hummel Lake, San Juan County.</div>
<div>07 -- Nine roosting in a tree along Hwy 101 at Steamboat Island Junction, Thurston County, 8:52am.</div>
<div>12 -- One or two south of SR502 along 29th Avenue in Clark County, 5:50pm.</div>
<div>14 -- One at Dugualla Bay on Whidbey Island.</div>
<div>15 -- One turkey vulture at the Kennedy Creek Estuary, Mason County, heading NW.</div>
<div>15 -- First turke vulture of the season seen soaring over a ridge behind Hoquiam High School, no wing tags.</div>
<div>16 -- One at Saturna Island, Winter Cove, BC.</div>
<div>17 -- One in flight over a Pine Ridge Park neighborhood (photo).</div>
<div>20 -- 27 at the Kennedy Creek Estuary, heading NW.</div>
<div>23 -- Six turkey vultures following a NW ridge at Larch Mountain, Clark County with other raptors between 11-12am.</div>
<div>24 -- Five at the Kennedy Creek Estuary, heading NW; one at Intalco Archery Range, Whatcom County.</div>
<div>27 -- Another first of the year turkey vulture seen at the Twin Barns on the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually NWR; one adult riding the wind, headed east along south shore Guemes Island at ~1540.</div>
<div>28 -- Four on the bluff overlooking the beach campground at Fort Worden SP, a strong wind made the birds struggle to make forward progress, noon; 5 at the Kennedy Creek Estuary.</div>
<div>29 -- Nine turkey vultures between 10-12am, over Larch Mountain; 7 at the Kennedy Creek Estuary, heading NW.</div>
<div>30 -- Two at Barnaby Slough, Skagit County; five at Harrison Lake, Greenpoint, BC</div>
<div>31 -- Three at the Kennedy Creek Estuary, heading NW</div>
