Birding the Rio Grande Valley below Laredo is just amazing. I spent 2 hours there on a field trip through the Laredo Birding Festival, and saw 42 species - with many of the south Texas specialties. To lose this gem of wildlife habitat to continue building the <span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt;">failed </span>Border Fence would be a travesty.
