<div style='font-family:arial; font-size:13px;'><div>Tweets,</div><div><br></div><div>Not snow related, nor suet, but natural. A few years ago when I lived next to a Seattle greenbelt, a Pileated Woodpecker would visit an alder snag just in back of the house and whack away for a couple hours about once every six months. As the chips flew, a flicker or two usually came in to prospect on the ground below, apparently getting prey the Pileated missed. I think I recall Song Sparrows in the mix, too. There's probably a long history of birds gleaning below active woodpeckers. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Of about 2016,</div><div><br></div><div>Alan Grenon</div><div>Seattle</div><div>panmail AT mailfence.com<br></div></div>
