<div dir="ltr">Hi Tweets,<div><br></div><div>forty of us had another good day of birding at the Refuge with cloudy skies in the morning and sun in the afternoon.  The temperature was in the 60-70's degrees Fahrenheit, and their was a Low -0'1" Tide at 8:28 am and a High 11'3" Tide at 3:52 pm.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Highlights included Green Heron at the Visitor Center Pond Overlook.  Great Horned Owl along the entrance road.  Male and female Northern Harrier hunting over the recently mowed fields.  A nice variety of warblers, Warbling Vireo, Western Tanager, immature Hairy Woodpecker and another Great Horned Owl along the east branch of the Twin Barns Loop Trail.  Fly overs of Red <span class="" id=":1kk.1" tabindex="-1" style="background:yellow">Crossbill</span>, <span class="" id=":1kk.2" tabindex="-1" style="background:yellow">Vaux's</span> Swift and Turkey Vulture.  Greater <span class="" id=":1kk.3" tabindex="-1" style="background:yellow">Yellowlegs</span>, Long-billed/Short-billed <span class="" id=":1kk.4" tabindex="-1" style="background:yellow">Dowitcher</span>, Virginia Rail and <span class="" id=":1kk.5" tabindex="-1" style="background:yellow">Sora</span> along the fresh water side of the <span class="" id=":1kk.6" tabindex="-1" style="background:yellow">Nisqually</span> Estuary Trail.  Baird's Sandpiper, Semi-<span class="" id=":1kk.7" tabindex="-1" style="background:yellow">palmated</span> Plover with Western Sandpiper's and Least Sandpiper's on the <span class="" id=":1kk.8" tabindex="-1" style="background:yellow">Nisqually</span> Estuary Boardwalk Trail 2 hours before the high tide.  A single Bank Swallow continues and was observed by a few early in the morning.</div>
