I looked at the records for North America. I had hoped for one, but never expected to see one. It came as a shock. Just a magnificent bird, with the slow, deep wing beats, it was really cool. The movie Jurassic Park came to mind. Bob - if you know who reported an immature a few months ago on the northern Oregon coast, please find out more
