[Tweeters] Nisqually at less than optimum tide?

Hi,

I'm going to be in the Olympia area the first weekend in November.  I
think of Nisqually

as being a "best at low tide" location - but the tides that day are
"high" (actually a "high low

tide" in the daylight hours).  I've only been to Nisqually once, last
year at the same time of

year.  The tide was low then and I got to see shorebirds, etc.

My obvious question is "should I just pass on Nisqually when the
water will be so high?".

Are there other locations in the Olympia area that you'd recommend for
early November

birding that aren't tide influenced wetlands?  Or somewhere else between
Skagit County

and Olympia?
