This article also resulted in me thinking about male C Nighthawks, male C Poorwill calling (very white neck patch exposed when calling-it is hard for me to believe the white is brighter/ whiter on woodcocks then male C Poorwill and I speculate are likely very similar) and male Harlequin ducks:
