Hi Tweets,
Pilchuck Audubon Society is working on an update of its "*Birding in
Snohomish County*" book, which was last published in 2001. We are in need
of site photos for the book, and we're hoping you can help!
*We’re interested in photos that show the sites’ general features and/or
highlight the habitat(s) that make these locations great for birds.* For
example, pictures of the wetland/grassland/forest/shoreline/etc., the
trail/boardwalk/etc., the rookery/nest colony on site, and so on. At this
time, we do not need photos of birds (unless the photo shows the bird in
the broader landscape).
For a list of locations that we're interested in photos for, please visit
our book webpage at:
https://www.pilchuckaudubon.org/birding-in-snohomish-county-book
We're unable to provide compensation for your photos, but will clearly
provide credit on all photos.
And if you're interested in getting a copy of the book when it is ready
later this year, please add your name to our book notification list
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeEhuCKrcPp9hJQK8GteJKblhHRJA-eObCjoWxTLHXPWCt9hg/viewform?usp=sf_link>
and we'll let you know when they are available!
Thank you!
