[Tweeters] Stellar's Jay skin disease?

Are jays prone to getting a skin disease on their feet?  I've seen a
Stellar's Jay at my house a couple of times recently that seems to have
thicker, paler skin on its feet but not most of the toe.  Almost like it
was wearing fluffy toeless socks...
