[Tweeters] T. Solitare or N. Shrike, or wtf

A friend living up at the north end of Lake Washington (bluffs SW of
Sheridan Beach) had this bird in his backyard for a couple of days (around
Nov 25 2022?). The subject line shows my guesses. I was led astray by the
second photo that seems to show black mask. I think that's an artifact and
that it's most likely a Townsend's Solitaire, despite the unlikeliness of
that.  I didn't see the bird in myself.
