I just spent an enjoyable couple of hours with David Hutchinson, Seattle birder and owner of Flora and Fauna Books.

Flora and Fauna has an excellent selection of books, both new and used, including many that are rare and hard to- find.  Bird books are the main attraction for me, but David tries to stock books on as many aspects of natural history as he can.  In addition to the many bird books, there are books about plants, gardening, mammals, insects, and other topics.  I found several I couldn't resist.

David is very knowledgeable and fun to talk with about birds and books.  I encourage those looking for special volumes to add to their libraries to contact David at <florafaunabooks at hotmail.com>
