[Tweeters] Marymoor Great Blue Heron

The heron that is hanging dead at the Marymoor rookery is hanging from fishing line that it had integrated into the nest. It is heartbreaking to imagine how much it must have struggled before it died, while its mate and the rest of the colony looked on, and possibly with eggs in the nest. I have photos but am not sure how to share them in Tweeters.

WDFW has a Monofilament recovery and recycling program, but more needs to be done. I want to help in any way I can. Seeing that heron absolutely broke my heart.
