>> We know that nature can be brutal, but what we saw today at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah was difficult to witness.  5 Bald Eagles attacked a female Common Merganser and her 7 juveniles.  Here is a video/slide show that conveys what happened without being too graphic.
