Tweets,
At 9:30 this morning, the Sora reported earlier by Andy McCormick was still out and about at Juanita Bay Park. I spotted it with my scope from the east platform (the one closest to the road) but it was close to the west platform, feeding at the edge of the water between the lily pads and the taller plants. After watching it for a while, I walked over to the west platform, but didn’t see it again. It was pretty quiet at the park, and only 4 species of waterfowl—Canada Goose, Mallard, Wood Duck, and PB Grebe—a new low for me on the lake! Not even a cormorant and no raptors. But then, there was that Sora!!
