[Tweeters] Red Knot at Marrowstone Pt, Jefferson Co

This morning there was a Red Knot at Marrowstone Pt, on the open beach
several hundred yards SW of the buildings. Distant pics and full list at

Elsewhere in the vicinity, there's been quite a pickup in shorebirds,
especially at Fort Flagler Campground and Kah Tai Lagoon. Red-necked
Grebes, Common Loons, Surf Scoters, Common Murres, and Red-necked
Phalaropes, largely absent all summer, have been increasing in the waters
around Port Townsend.
