[Tweeters] Iceland/Thayers Gulls and Golden Gardens?, query

Help!

Caveat: I'm barely a birder and not a gull person.  I wish I could post
anonymously.

Monday afternoon there was a flock of about 15 smaller gulls pretty far off
the point at Golden Gardens. They had a pretty distinct lack of black
primaries. Maybe a few of them did have black primaries.

Most distinctive: they were hunting imho like Terns (feet first into the
water, not going under and flying again quickly)

They did have a noticeable cool grey and white contrast in their wings, top
and especially bottom
