I have yet to set up feeders in my backyard, out of pure laziness, but I've
still had Pileated Woodpeckers hang out in my yard both front and back as
well as around my neighborhood. Perhaps someone else has feeders nearby set
up that they enjoy? At any rate, they probably enjoy the taller dougies
around for hanging out in, and the last visitor I had was marking his
territory on the street light pole out front early in the morning...
bastard woke me up with his racket! lol
