Hey Tweets, Just a reminder of the WOS meeting on Monday, May 6 at UW Center for Urban Horticulture:

"Ducklings, Predators, and Brood Parasites: a look at the challenges of ontogenetic growth, behavior development, and reproduction in cavity nesting wood ducks". Mitch Hinton is a PhD candidate at UC Davis, and a recent transplant to the Seattle area. His undergrad work is in ecology and evolutionary biology, and he has a Master's in Avian Science from UC Davis where he studied the transmission of West Nile Virus in the American Crow.

Washington Ornithological Society monthly meetings are held at
The UW Center for Urban Horticulture, 3501 NE 41st Street, Seattle 98105

Social starts at 7pm, and the formal program begins at 7:30pm.
Meetings are the first Monday of the month, October through June.
All are welcome.
