[Tweeters] Yellow-rumpled Warbler taking nectar?

Dan and Tweeters,

I’ll add to the chorus by sharing a photo of not a Yellow-rumped, but a Townsend’s Warbler sipping from my hummingbird feeder<https://www.flickr.com/photos/trileigh/49294453923/in/dateposted-public/> several years ago. Given that behavior, I sure wouldn’t be too surprised (though I sure would be delighted) to see a YRWA at the feeder.

Good birding to all! I’m looking forward to reading what everyone’s FBOY is on Wednesday.
Trileigh

This is a first for me. Twice today I’ve seen a YRWA (Aud) perch at a hummingbird feeder to take nectar. Each time it stayed long enough to take 6 - 12 “sips”
What gives?
Any Tweets know more of such phenomena?
Dan
